About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Aspen, Colorado. The assignment is in a hospital setting and is for 13 weeks, starting on 10/19/2026. The shift is 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay is estimated between $2,678–$2,802. Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP); Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM); The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Spanish bilingual preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in an obstetric setting
- Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals; interpret fetal heart rate patterns; respond to changes per clinical protocols
- Administer medications, assist with procedures, and support labor and delivery including vaginal and cesarean cases as needed
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments; document care in EPIC; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for care planning and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on prenatal/postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding support; ensure patient safety and comfort
