About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Templeton, California. The assignment is for a 13-week contract with a start date of 08/31/2026. Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Experience in labor and delivery settings preferred
- Ability to work day shift with 12-hour rotations
- Willingness to undertake a travel assignment and commit to the 13-week contract
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to patients and their families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
- Manage emergencies and circulating for cesarean sections, ensuring patient safety and effective teamwork
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer medications and perform routine postpartum assessments
- Educate patients and families on care plans, lactation, discharge planning, and warning signs
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within the scope of practice
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
