About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Chillicothe, Ohio. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on 09/28/2026. The role is in a hospital setting and offers a weekly pay range of $2,288 – $2,501 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is Days, from 7am to 7pm, including weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays. This is a temporary travel assignment.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Ohio
- Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS
- Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the assignment
- Ability to work in a labor and delivery unit with triage, monitoring, and emergent response duties
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years in labor and delivery preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care for patients at 32 weeks and above
- Triage obstetric patients, monitor labor progression, and respond to changes in status
- Circulate cesarean sections and assist the surgical team during cesarean deliveries
- Manage labor and delivery collaboratively with physicians and midwives; support vaginal and cesarean births
- Support patient recovery, discharge planning, and postpartum care; monitor maternal status and fetal wellbeing
- Document care in the medical record and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality
