About The Position
This travel RN position supports a geriatric population in a long-term care/LTC nursing home setting. It begins September 12, 2026, runs for eight weeks, and offers a weekly pay range of $1,158 to $1,235 with three 12-hour day shifts per week. Orientation is provided at the start of the assignment.
Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a geriatric/LTC setting (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
- Credentialing readiness: complete required documentation by 09/09/2026 or ASAP
- Weekend schedule: every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage: as needed by client
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor resident health status, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, and document findings
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update and implement individualized care plans
- Provide routine nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living, wound care, and mobility as needed
- Maintain accurate charting and reporting; communicate changes to the charge nurse promptly
- Uphold safety, infection control, and falls prevention standards; ensure a clean and safe care environment
