About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Delta, Colorado. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on 10/12/2026. The role guarantees 36 hours per week, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts. The position is in a hospital setting, focusing on critical care for adults.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license to practice
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS required within 3 months of start
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of start
- Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting and adhere to unit policies
- Shift readiness for 3x12-hour night assignments and compliance with assignment timelines
Nice To Haves
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Two years of relevant ICU/critical care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring and managing acute conditions.
- Operate and adjust devices and therapies common to critical care, including telemetry as applicable, ventilators, and IV medications.
- Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, document progress, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and therapies accurately, monitor for adverse effects, and respond to emergencies per protocol.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and family communication; participate in rounds and improve care processes as needed.
