About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Sonora, California. The role involves working in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting with guaranteed hours and a 36-hour workweek, consisting of 3x12-hour day shifts. The position offers weekly pay ranging from $2,044 to $2,187 and a start date of 09/08/2026. The assignment provides dedicated support and access to nationwide opportunities.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or as required for the assignment.
Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field, with preference for ER or acute care exposure.
Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS).
EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ER environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

BSN is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Collect and analyze patient data, identify health issues, and develop a plan of care with timely interventions.
Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with other disciplines, and monitor progress toward outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses, participate in discharge planning, and provide clear health information to patients and families.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring a safe, healing environment.
Collaborate with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary treatment team to support education, follow-up, and continuity of care.
