About The Position

This is a travel temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse – ER at a Critical Access Hospital in Clearlake, CA. The position focuses on emergency and acute care nursing with possible ICU float, within a hospital setting that requires strong assessment and rapid response capabilities. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 08/31/2026. The shift is 3x12 Nights (1800–0630), with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekly pay is estimated between $2,030–$2,041 per week.

Requirements

Current California RN license (active)
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
At least one year of RN experience within the last 24 months with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT/ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience and in good standing
Immunizations required as a condition of employment; exemptions may apply
Ability to work night shifts and potential floating to ICU or other units as needed
Eligible for E-Verify and right-to-work verification per policy

Nice To Haves

MICN is desired within one year of hire
MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to ED and, when needed, ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely escalation of changes in condition
Perform triage, administer medications, establish IV access, and manage patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and appropriate disposition
Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
Support procedures, assist with emergencies, and participate in performance improvement initiatives
