About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) located in Morrisville, Vermont. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on October 19, 2026. The role involves delivering age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within established standards of care, and taking on leadership responsibilities, including delegating tasks to other staff as appropriate. The position is in a hospital setting.

Requirements

Active RN license in good standing in the United States (or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state).
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation as required.
ER/hospital setting experience preferred; ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ER environment.
Ability to work a rotating shift and comply with assignment requirements.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality care, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver age-specific, direct patient care to ER patients using the Nursing Process.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; monitor patient status and adjust the care plan as needed.
Collaborate with the care team and delegate appropriate tasks to other licensed and unlicensed staff.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and patient/family education as part of discharge planning.
