About The Position

Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in a rural, critical access hospital setting in Reedley, California. This assignment is in an acute care environment serving a regional community in California’s Central Valley. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a shift of 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay ranges from $2,007 to $2,138 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The start date for this assignment is 09/21/2026.

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; CPR acceptable per policy
ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
EPIC electronic medical record experience required
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care/ER settings; ER/professional experience preferred
BSN preferred; minimum requirement is a current nursing license with ability to work in the listed setting

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients following established standards and the nursing process.
Collect relevant data, assess needs, and participate in developing and implementing an appropriate care plan.
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members, supervise nursing staff as needed, and ensure a safe and healing environment.
Administer treatments, monitor patient response, document care in the electronic record, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
Educate patients and families, provide timely health information, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Delegate tasks appropriately and maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and vaccination requirements.
