About The Position

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy in Rochester, NY, United States. This travel assignment begins on 09/14/2026 and runs for 17 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,810 to $2,944. Shifts are 8 hours, with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.); on-call coverage is required for overnights and weekends. The role supports endoscopy and GI procedures in an acute-care environment, providing direct patient care, procedural assistance, and post-procedure recovery without identifying a specific work site.

Requirements

New York State RN license (active)
BLS (American Heart Association) required
ACLS (American Heart Association) required
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification capability
Conscious sedation and expert IV insertion skills
Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia and handling GI procedure intake

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during endoscopy and GI procedures, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring procedure readiness
Monitor patient vitals, manage telemetry, and identify rhythm disturbances during procedures
Administer sedatives and medications as prescribed; support conscious sedation and IV drip administration
Prepare, sterilize, and handle instruments and supplies; support doctors throughout the procedure
Recover patients after procedures, monitoring for complications related to sedation or anesthesia
Document all patient notes, discharge instructions, and relevant procedure details
