About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department (ED) located in Saratoga Springs, New York. The role involves working in a combined ED that serves both adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting. The contract duration is for Weeks, with a start date of 08/31/2026. The shift is 3x12 Nights, and the weekly pay range is $1,907-$2,022.

Requirements

Active New York RN license in hand at submission
BLS, PALS, and NIHSS required at start
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required for submission
Recent Nursys verification and professional references required
Competency in rhythm interpretation and telemetry; ability to pass facility rhythm exam and Relias EKG exam within specified timelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and to float within hospital as needed per unit policy

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, stabilization, and disposition planning
Monitor telemetry and perform/interpret 12-lead ECGs; recognize and manage dysrhythmias
Administer medications, initiate procedures per protocol, draw labs, and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other support services to ensure patient needs are met
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and manage patient flow, prioritization, and occasional float within the department per manager discretion
