About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at a hospital in Aberdeen, Washington. The role involves delivering acute emergency care to a diverse patient population. The contract is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/08/2026. The position offers night shifts, specifically 3x12 hour shifts, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Requirements

• Active RN license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys verification
• Approved 6-hour suicide training
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• RN degree from an accredited program
• Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED setting
• Full availability for scheduling
• RTO (time off) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract

Nice To Haves

• Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and IV therapy per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and ensure patient safety
• Respond to emergencies, participate in code response, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary ED team
• Document patient status, interventions, and care plans in the electronic medical record
• Communicate clearly with physicians, mid-level providers, case management, and ancillary staff; support accurate discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain clinical competencies, adhere to infection control standards, and protect patient confidentiality
