About The Position
This is a travel temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) at a hospital-based ER in Concord, New Hampshire. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with a shift of 12-hour nights (12x3). The role involves delivering direct patient care to a broad age range of patients, excluding obstetric patients.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state at time of submission.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Nursys license verification with all active RN licenses; ability to verify credentials.
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at time of submission.
- ER nursing experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus. If no pediatric experience, willingness to learn and be trained is required.
- Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER for a broad age range from newborn to geriatric; obstetric patients are not included.
- Perform triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely interventions; administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
- Monitor patient status, interpret basic labs and diagnostics, and respond to emergencies with appropriate procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans; document care in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred).
- Prepare and assist with procedures, provide patient and family education, and coordinate discharges or transfers when indicated.
- May be required to float to appropriate units within the service area to support patient care needs.
