About The Position

The Registered Nurse-ED implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. The role includes assessing patients’ needs, developing patient care plans, providing direct care, managing care delivery, demonstrating leadership, supporting quality care, and promoting customer relations and a healing environment. The position is full-time on a mid shift from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Georgetown, Kentucky. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified individuals.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and fewer than 10 years of experience must enroll in a bachelor’s degree program within 12 months of hire and achieve the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; if not already certified, obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and successful completion of a dysrhythmia class as required by the department of assignment.
