About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. This is a part-time mid-shift position, 1 p.m.–1 a.m., in the Emergency Department at Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll in a bachelor's degree program within 12 months of hire and achieve the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; applicants not already certified must obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and successful completion of a dysrhythmia class, as required by the department of assignment.
