About The Position

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (PRN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, providing direct care, managing care delivery, demonstrating leadership, supporting quality care, and promoting positive customer relations and a healing environment. The position is with Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Georgetown, Kentucky, a facility offering emergency room, urgent care, and quick care services.

Requirements

• Current Kentucky RN licensure or work permit.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll in a bachelor’s degree program within 12 months of hire and complete the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; if not already certified, obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and successful completion of a dysrhythmia class as required by the department of assignment.
