About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - Charge Acute Care assignment in Geneva, New York. The assignment is for a duration of 22 weeks, with a start date of 09/28/2026. The role is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and involves 8-hour shifts. The position requires participation in a call/rotation schedule with a 1-hour response time.

Requirements

• NYS Registered Nurse licensure with active status
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy/endoscopy-related RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity acute care environment and participate in a call/rotation schedule as described

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care across the endoscopy/acute care pathway, supporting pre-op, intra-op, and post-op processes as assigned
• Assess patient and family needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adjust care as conditions change
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and respond to emergencies with professional clinical judgment
• Promote infection prevention, safe procedures, and patient safety while ensuring documentation is accurate and timely
• Educate patients and families to support self-care after discharge and coordinate ongoing care with the care team
