About The Position
The Registered Medication Aide (RMA) at The Landmark Center, an assisted living facility in Stuart, Virginia, safely and accurately administers medications, monitors residents, and assists with daily living activities as needed. The role helps maintain a positive, supportive, and home-like environment that promotes residents’ independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is a full-time position with a listed shift of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the State of Virginia.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and document medications according to state regulations and facility policy.
- Observe residents for medication side effects, changes in condition, or unusual reactions and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with personal care and daily activities as needed.
- Support residents’ emotional and social well-being through compassionate interactions.
- Maintain accurate medication records and uphold confidentiality.
- Promote safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
