About The Position

Rosewood Village – Hollymead is hiring a Registered Medication Aide (RMA) / Medication Aide to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role involves assisting residents with medications in accordance with Virginia guidelines, documenting medication administration accurately, observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, and helping with activities of daily living. The aide works closely with nursing and resident care teams to provide compassionate care.

The posting offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. Full-time and part-time first-shift hours are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; part-time second shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. PRN opportunities are available on all shifts. Pay is $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Current Virginia Medication Aide / RMA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-focused.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Nice To Haves

• Senior Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications according to Virginia guidelines.
• Accurately document medication administration.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Work closely with nursing and resident care teams.
• Provide compassionate care in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
