About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Valparaiso, Indiana. The schedule is Monday-Friday, approximately 17.5 hours per week, with exact session times from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and provides a treatment plan and handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri, about 17.5 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Nice To Haves

• Pathway to BCBA supervision and a BCBA certification if that is the career goal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Attend training and required meetings.
