About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Valparaiso, Indiana. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times from 2-5 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and will provide a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Indiana and focuses on keeping those plans open, ensuring each family has a dedicated care manager and a schedule built around their real week, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering direct therapy according to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback. The technician will collect session data and submit notes. Non-billable time is paid at $10 per hour. The company's BCBAs and clinical directors have over 40 years of combined experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in supervision, including QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
