About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a client in Woodbridge, Virginia. This position offers a consistent schedule of approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday afternoons, specifically from 4pm to 7pm. This role is for a single client case, ensuring the hours and days are fixed. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and a thorough handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal RBTs for new cases, offering them the first opportunity to take on new clients.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Collect session data and submit notes for completed work.
