About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Waianae, Hawaii. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and region, providing a treatment plan and handoff before the first session. This role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA, collecting session data, and submitting notes. Supervision includes in-session checks, observation, and feedback.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

• Support to get RBT certification is offered if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
• Work with a dedicated care manager and a schedule built around the client's needs, family's availability, and your own.
