About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Waianae, Hawaii. This is a single client case with a set schedule of Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri afternoons, approximately 12 hours per week. The exact session times are 3-6pm, with summer availability from 12-3pm. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and will provide a treatment plan and handoff before the first session. Our current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii and focuses on keeping therapy plans open by building schedules around the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets. The role involves delivering direct therapy according to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan, collecting session data, and submitting notes. Non-billable time is paid at $16 per hour. The clinical team has over 40 years of combined ABA experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri afternoons, about 12 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Engage actively in sessions with the client.
