About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Waianae, Hawaii. This position offers a schedule of Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a thorough handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal RBTs for new cases before seeking external candidates. The company is dedicated to providing therapy to autistic children and their families, supporting families on Medicaid across Hawaii and working to maintain their plans. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to their real week, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observations, and actionable feedback. RBTs are responsible for collecting session data and submitting notes. Non-billable time is compensated at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes.
• Participate in in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
• Collaborate with BCBA for client handoff and treatment plan implementation.
