About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is part-time, with a schedule of Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week. The exact session times for this case are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3-6pm, and Wednesday from 2-5pm. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and provides treatment plans and handoffs before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii and aims to keep therapy plans open by building schedules around the client's needs, family availability, and the technician's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend required meetings and training.
