About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Wahiawa, Hawaii. The schedule is Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri afternoons, approximately 10 hours per week. This posting is for a single client case, meaning the hours and days are fixed. Exact session times are 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM on these days. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing treatment plans and a handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii and works to keep therapy plans active, offering dedicated care managers and schedules built around the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's availability, not corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri afternoons, about 10 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
