About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Winterville, North Carolina. This part-time position offers approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times scheduled Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm. The role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan developed by an assigned BCBA, collecting session data, and submitting notes. Supervision is provided with in-session checks, observations, and feedback. Step Ahead ABA focuses on providing therapy to families on Medicaid across North Carolina, ensuring schedules are built around the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data.
• Submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in supervision, including QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
