About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Salisbury, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week. This posting is for a single client case, meaning the hours and days are fixed. Exact session times are Monday-Friday from 5pm to 8pm. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across North Carolina, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to their real week, client needs, and the RBT's availability, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering direct therapy (97153) based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback. RBTs collect session data and submit notes. Non-billable time is paid at $10 per hour. The BCBAs and clinical directors have over 40 years of combined experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities
