About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Salisbury, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 15 hours per week, with exact session times from 5-8pm. This posting is for a single client case. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across North Carolina, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to their real week, not a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering 97153 direct therapy according to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback. The technician will collect session data and submit notes. Non-billable time is paid at $10 per hour. BCBAs and clinical directors have over 40 years of combined experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities
