About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday afternoons, approximately 25 hours per week, with exact session times from 3pm to 8pm. This role is for a single client case, meaning the hours are fixed and not a range. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is already assigned to the client and will provide a thorough handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal candidates for new cases, giving current RBTs the first opportunity to take on new clients. The company is committed to providing therapy to families on Medicaid across Indiana and ensures that therapy plans remain open by offering dedicated care managers and flexible scheduling that accommodates the client's needs, the family's availability, and the RBT's schedule, rather than adhering to corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 25 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

• Support to obtain RBT certification is offered by Step Ahead if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Participate in real supervision, including in-session QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
• Collect session data and submit notes for work performed.
• Attend training and required meetings.
