About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in Falls Church, Virginia. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 17.5 hours per week, with exact session times from M-F 6-8:30pm and Saturday 9am-12:30pm. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Virginia, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. The schedule is determined by clinical appropriateness, family availability, and the RBT's availability, not by corporate hour targets.

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification with the BACB.
  • Prior ABA experience.
  • Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 17.5 hours per week.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 97153 direct therapy according to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
  • Collect session data and submit notes for work performed.
  • Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
