About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Waianae, Hawaii. The schedule is confirmed with the placement team and reflects the actual hours for this specific client. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Hawaii, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to the client's clinical needs, the family's availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than a corporate hours target. The RBT will deliver direct therapy (97153) based on a treatment and behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA. Supervision includes in-session QA and IOA checks, observations, and feedback. The role involves collecting session data and submitting notes. Non-billable time is paid at $16 per hour. The clinical team has over 40 years of combined ABA experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability schedule confirmed with the placement team.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
