Regional Sales Manager - AquaEye - Chicago

BLANKSLATE Partners•Chicago, IL
•$60,000 - $180,000•Remote

About The Position

As Regional Sales Manager, you own the revenue target for your territory and work directly with fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and search and rescue teams, alongside dealers, distributors, and sales representatives, to drive growth. The SDR team qualifies inbound and outbound leads and passes them to you; you manage each deal through evaluation, demonstration, quoting, and close, while also developing opportunities through partners, events, and existing customer relationships. The sales process is consultative and hands-on. You learn how customer teams operate, understand their needs, and demonstrate how AquaEye Pro supports their mission. Much of the work happens in the field, where customers can experience the technology. Public safety purchases may involve annual budgets, grant funding, formal quotes, and council or board approvals, and you help customers navigate those steps. The position is remote when not in the field, with travel throughout the region for demonstrations, training, customer visits, and events. The role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, paid time off, paid holidays, health coverage, travel and equipment support, product training, and ongoing coaching. The company develops AquaEye Pro, an AI-enabled handheld sonar system intended to help rescue teams locate people underwater.
