About The Position

VodaSafe is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow revenue for AquaEye Pro, a handheld sonar system that uses artificial intelligence to help rescue teams locate people underwater. The role owns the territory revenue target and works with fire departments, law enforcement agencies, search and rescue teams, dealers, distributors, and sales representatives. The company’s SDR team qualifies inbound and outbound leads; the Regional Sales Manager takes ownership of opportunities through evaluation, demonstration, quoting, and close, while also developing new opportunities through partners, events, and customer relationships. The sales approach is consultative and hands-on. The manager learns how customer teams operate, identifies their needs, and demonstrates how AquaEye supports their missions. Much of the work takes place in the field, including customer evaluations in local waters. The role also helps customers navigate public-sector purchasing processes that may involve annual budgets, grant funding, formal quotes, and council or board approval. This is a remote role with substantial regional travel. When not in the field, the employee works from home and plans their schedule around customer visits, demonstrations, and events. Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission.

  • Confidence presenting to groups and willingness to learn to demonstrate technical products.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with end users and sales partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time for product demonstrations, product training, and strategic relationship building.
  • Comfort with hands-on outdoor work near and on the water in a range of weather.
