About The Position

Hyperfine, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Director (RSD) responsible for driving sales of their innovative brain imaging products within a defined geographical territory. The RSD will engage with various stakeholders in hospital settings (ICU, ED, OR) and other potential locations where point-of-care MRI can be beneficial. This role requires managing multiple decision-makers, including physicians, nurses, healthcare services, IT, procurement, and executive administrators. The RSD will develop a territory plan, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue in a capital sales environment. A key aspect of the role involves selling disruptive technology and guiding customers through change management for patient care and hospital workflows. The RSD will introduce products, identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and execute field-based commercial activities to meet or exceed sales quotas.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of medical device sales experience.
  • Capital sales experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must have consistent access to a personally owned vehicle that is well-maintained and in good working condition.
  • Work authorization for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the territory plan to achieve quota and revenue growth goals, incorporating both tactical and strategic planning.
  • Adhere to a defined sales process and lead generation process, meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and ensure a cohesive sales approach.
  • Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) or quarterback for the customer throughout the sales process and customer lifecycle to ensure full account penetration.
  • Manage complex sales with multiple work streams running concurrently to achieve system/unit sales of Swoop.
  • Leverage expertise in complex procedures (ICU, ED, OR), anatomy, patient procedures, and product value for targeted clinical specialties, with the ability to quickly learn complex information.
  • Successfully sell technical information to clinicians, financial benefits to procurement/CFOs, and coordinate with IT/Informatics teams for implementation.
  • Support live events, including demonstrations and conferences, by managing logistics and driving customer awareness.
  • Partner with Inside Sales to follow up on leads, find new customers, schedule product demonstrations, and manage the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with commercial and internal stakeholders (product, marketing, clinical sciences, customer success) to share feedback, identify trends, and create customer value.
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) daily/weekly to report regional customers, accounts, and sales activities.
  • Provide required reports to leadership (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Travel within the defined region to meet customers in person as needed.
  • Travel outside the region for company and industry events when required.
  • Manage and account for expenses in adherence to company policy.
