About The Position

The Regional Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for a portfolio of apartment communities throughout Central Indiana. The role is responsible for property performance, developing high-performing onsite teams, and maintaining resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial success. The position involves directing operations across multiple communities, supporting teams, monitoring performance, and traveling throughout the region.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of apartment industry experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years of Tax Credit (LIHTC/Section 42) experience.
• Ability to travel throughout Central Indiana 50%–75% of the time.
• Strong leadership, team development, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation, exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of Fair Housing requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong financial and operational management experience.

Nice To Haves

• CAM, CAPS, HCCP, or other industry certifications.
• Experience managing multiple communities and geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee operations of multiple apartment communities within an assigned region.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to onsite teams.
• Drive occupancy, retention, delinquency, and financial performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with Section 42/LIHTC regulations and company policies.
• Analyze property performance and implement strategic solutions to improve results.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, audits, and team meetings.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight.
• Promote accountability, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
