About The Position

The Regional Central Dispatch Manager leads and coordinates equipment transportation and dispatch activities across Illinois and Indiana. Serving as the central point of contact for Rental, Service, and Sales transportation requests, this role optimizes deliveries, pickups, interbranch transfers, and equipment movements while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time execution. The position reports from either the Orland Park, Illinois, or South Elgin, Illinois, branch; the posting also states that any branch within Illinois or Indiana may be a location and that regional travel may be required. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift. Expected salary is $80,000–$100,000, based on overall candidate experience.

Requirements

Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, equipment rental, or a related field.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with construction equipment, material handling, or the rental industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize transportation requests across multiple branches and departments.
Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, transfers, and service-related moves.
Optimize routing, driver utilization, and transportation capacity.
Improve on-time performance, reduce transportation costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Lead regional dispatch processes and collaborate with branch, rental, service, and sales teams.
