About The Position

Metropolis is seeking an experienced, operationally rigorous leader to manage day-to-day operations across a geographic region and multi-site portfolio. The Regional Manager, Operations is responsible for regional P&L performance, technology adoption, service delivery, facility condition and safety, and the development of operational teams. The role connects executive leadership with frontline site teams, translating business goals into disciplined operations, strong customer satisfaction, and safe, compliant facilities. The position also serves as the senior operational escalation point for property owners and real estate partners, and supports market expansion through deal underwriting, facility handoffs, proposal facilitation, and post-contract onboarding. The company follows an office-first model for corporate team members, requiring at least four days per week on-site. The anticipated base salary is $110,000 to $140,000 annually. Total compensation may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short- and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, stock options, bonus plans, and other offerings.

Requirements

At least 5 years of multi-unit operational leadership experience managing distributed facilities, properties, mobility hubs, or retail/hospitality operations.
Full P&L and EBITDA accountability across a multi-site portfolio, with demonstrated experience in budget management, variance analysis, and labor optimization.
Leadership experience managing field supervisors, operations managers, and frontline hourly staff.
Tech-fluent operational mindset and comfort using data dashboards, BI tools, and operational KPIs to identify trends, audit workflows, and drive root-cause fixes.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, including experience presenting financial performance and operational reviews to commercial real estate partners or asset owners.
Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
Willingness to travel locally across the regional portfolio.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience scaling operational performance in parking, urban mobility, commercial real estate, or high-volume retail/hospitality environments.
Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM and BI platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, or Looker.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily multi-site operations across the region, ensuring consistent service delivery, facility cleanliness, safety, and high technology uptime across Vision camera and access systems.
Own regional financial performance and P&L, including annual budgeting, reforecasting, labor-efficiency modeling, and expense control; maintain overtime below 3% and achieve EBITDA targets.
Monitor operational dashboards to optimize visit coverage rates and Gross Payment Volume compliance; diagnose and resolve location-level anomalies with Operations Managers.
Recruit, coach, and retain operational teams, including Senior Operations Managers and Operations Managers; foster accountability and ensure training completion exceeds 95%.
Oversee labor management, including local CBA administration and grievance resolution where applicable.
Serve as the senior operational escalation point for property owners and real estate partners; drive same-store revenue retention and customer and member satisfaction.
Partner with Revenue and Growth teams on new deal underwriting, facility handoffs, proposal facilitation, and post-contract onboarding.
Enforce risk-management protocols through safety audits, regular site inspections, and prompt hazard resolution to maintain the stated incident exposure target.
Work on-site at least four days per week under the company's office-first model.
