About The Position

The Regional Event Marketing Manager (REMM) manages and executes regional event marketing initiatives and best practices to generate leads and help the region meet or exceed sales targets. The role focuses on appropriate staffing, event booking, exhibit display placement, event participation, and operations. It is a hybrid position involving travel; while traveling, the REMM works at offices and/or events with Event Marketing Managers (EMMs) or promoters. The REMM recruits, develops, trains, schedules, and manages the event team, including EMMs and promoters. The manager conducts regular meetings, visits offices, supports event operations, and may assume EMM responsibilities during a vacancy or absence to limit disruption. The role also develops the assigned territory, identifies and schedules events, manages booking documentation and event resources, supports exhibit setup and removal, and develops retail and community sponsorship partnerships. The REMM ensures adherence to departmental and HR procedures, timely paperwork, and regional performance standards. Stated productivity standards include .30 leads per hour, $400 cost per lead, and marketing costs of 20% or lower. Quality standards include lead conversion above 50%, accurate lead information, and proper submission. The manager monitors office performance and implements timely, proactive steps to address underperformance, while consulting leadership before changing standards, procedures, or best practices. Additional business needs may be assigned by the RD, Director, or VP.
