About The Position

Our fleet is expanding its regional steel division, focusing on the safe and efficient transport of flat steel and steel pipe. We offer a high-revenue percentage pay model and a dependable schedule that ensures drivers are off the road every weekend. This role involves regional routes averaging 2,300 to 2,800 miles per week, with freight characteristics including steel products requiring securement, and tarping on roughly half of all loads.

Requirements

• At least 22 years old.
• Minimum of one year of flatbed experience in the last five years.
• Specific history hauling and securing flat steel or steel pipe.
• Fully capable of utilizing binders, chains, straps, and tarps for freight securement.
• No Clearinghouse violations.
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the previous five years.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment urine drug analysis.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport flat steel and steel pipe.
• Secure loads using binders, chains, straps, and tarps.
• Tarp loads as required.
• Operate late-model automatic Freightliner or Kenworth tractors.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Benefits
