About The Position

This dedicated CDL-A flatbed steel hauler position offers consistent customer freight, weekend home time, and weekly earnings of $2,000 to $2,100. Drivers will haul dedicated stainless-steel freight from a customer near Calvert, Alabama, and will also have access to backhaul loads to minimize empty miles. The role involves driving assigned Kenworth T680 tractors paired with 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers. Freight primarily consists of stainless-steel coils and flat sheets, with approximately 75% of loads requiring tarping using lightweight six-foot drop tarps. Tarp pay is included in the overall compensation. Drivers can expect weekend home time with a 34-hour reset, providing a dependable schedule.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Minimum one year of OTR experience within the last five years
• Minimum six months of flatbed experience
• Steel-hauling experience required
• Current coil-hauling certification required
• Experience with tarping and load securement required
• Acceptable driving record required

Responsibilities

• Haul dedicated stainless-steel flatbed freight.
• Transport stainless-steel coils and flat sheets.
• Perform tarping and load securement for approximately 75% of loads.
• Complete live loading and unloading processes.
• Utilize backhaul loads to minimize empty miles.
• Adhere to a 34-hour reset for weekend home time.
