About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver for a dedicated stainless-steel freight account. This role involves hauling stainless-steel coils and sheets from Calvert, Alabama, with planned backhaul loads to ensure productive miles and consistent weekly earnings. Drivers will be assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors and 48-foot flatbed trailers equipped with necessary securement tools. Approximately 75% of loads require tarping, with lighter tarps provided, and tarp pay is included in the compensation.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum one year of OTR experience within the last five years
- Minimum six months of flatbed experience
- Steel-hauling experience required
- Current coil-hauling certification required
- Experience with tarping and load securement required

- Comfortable securing every load safely
Responsibilities
- Haul dedicated stainless-steel freight, including smaller coils and flat sheets.
- Complete planned backhaul loads to position the truck for the next outbound load.
- Perform live loading and unloading.
- Secure loads safely using provided equipment (winches, straps).
- Tarp approximately 75% of loads using provided lighter-weight tarps.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record.
