About The Position

The Refinish Technician is responsible for delivering a successful customer experience by refinishing vehicles carefully and restoring them to pre-accident condition. The role involves thoroughly mixing paint, matching colors, and completing refinishing operations according to each work order. The technician works with other team members to meet repair facility KPIs and production deadlines, and represents Gerber Collision & Glass as a brand ambassador. PAPR systems are provided to support a safe and comfortable work environment.

Requirements

2–5+ years of collision repair experience.
Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
Above-average focus on quality.
High production capabilities.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR or ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

Review body work for quality and completeness when it arrives in the paint department.
Mix paint, color match, and refinish vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Complete refinish operations as described in the work order.
Use and maintain paint material inventory efficiently.
Use required safety equipment consistently and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
Attend and collaborate with the team during daily production meetings.
Work with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
