About The Position

The Refinish Technician is responsible for delivering a successful customer experience by meticulously refinishing vehicles and restoring them to pre-accident condition. The technician mixes paint, color matches, and refinishes vehicles while supporting the facility’s speed, quality, and customer-service goals. The role works with the broader team to achieve repair-facility KPIs and represent Gerber Collision & Glass. Technicians are provided with PAPR systems to support a safe and comfortable work environment.

Requirements

2–5+ years of collision repair experience.
Ability to properly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
Above-average quality focus.
High production capabilities.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR or ASE Certifications.

Responsibilities

Review body work for quality and completeness when it arrives in the paint department.
Mix paint, color match, and refinish vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Complete refinish operations as described in the work order.
Use and maintain paint material inventory efficiently.
Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste.
Attend and collaborate with the team during daily production meetings.
Work with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
