About The Position

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant / Agency Recruiter who is fluent in both Japanese and English to join our remote team. This full-time, permanent role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for our clients, from understanding their needs to presenting qualified candidates. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agency recruitment and sales, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in IT recruiting is a plus.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an agency recruiter and in a sales-related role
  • Ability to manage the full initial recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of positions across different departments and seniority levels
  • Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls and in-person interviews
  • Ability to effectively evaluate candidates based on role requirements and seniority
  • Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English, with the ability to speak, read, and write both languages

Nice To Haves

  • Sales and/or coaching experience is preferred
  • IT recruiting experience or knowledge of the IT industry is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings with clients to understand hiring needs and establish candidate qualification criteria
  • Publish job advertisements on careers pages, job boards, and social media
  • Source and approach passive candidates through online platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and prospective clients
  • Screen resumes and job applications and identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct candidate interviews, including phone screenings and in-person interviews
  • Provide clients with shortlists of qualified candidates based on established criteria
  • Keep clients updated on hiring progress, including the number of candidates sourced and screened
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews and support them throughout the hiring process
  • Build talent pipelines of high-potential candidates for future opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of candidates, including resumes, assignments, and interview evaluations
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Support clients in reducing time-to-hire by consistently providing high-quality candidates in a timely manner
