About The Position

Champion Xpress Carwash is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to support its Human Resources team by filling vacancies across the organization. The role uses recruiting tools and resources to identify suitable candidates, tracks applicants through the applicant tracking system (ATS), and assists with onboarding after hiring. This is a hybrid position based in Lubbock, Texas, with required travel of 10–20% and occasional overnight stays. The listed annual salary range is $36,000 to $40,000.

Requirements

1–3 years of HR or recruitment experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, payroll management, HRIS, and similar computer applications.
Ability to travel 10–20%, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess applicants’ qualifications.
Help develop job descriptions and post job listings on recruiting websites or systems.
Coordinate with managers to schedule interviews and orientations for new hires.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes.
Work with department heads to establish qualifications for positions.
Attend job fairs to meet prospective candidates.
Guide candidates through the application process and track their progress in the ATS.
Assist with planning and executing special events, including benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
