Recruiting Specialist - Hybrid
About The Position
Champion Xpress Carwash is seeking an eager Recruiting Specialist to join its Human Resources team. The role supports the HR department by filling vacancies across the organization. The specialist uses a variety of tools and resources to identify suitable candidates, tracks applicants through the applicant tracking system (ATS), and assists with onboarding after hiring. This is a hybrid position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role also supports special events, including benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events. Travel of 10–20% is required, with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, payroll management, HRIS, and similar computer applications.
- Ability to travel 10–20%, including occasional overnight stays.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of HR or recruitment experience preferred.
- Bilingual ability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review resumes and conduct phone screens to determine whether applicants are qualified.
- Help develop job descriptions and post job listings on recruiting websites or systems.
- Coordinate with managers to schedule interviews and orientations for new hires.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding.
- Work with department heads to establish qualifications for each position.
- Attend job fairs to meet prospective candidates in person.
- Guide candidates through the application process and track their progress in the ATS.
- Assist with planning and executing special events, such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
