About The Position
Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA), a nonprofit home health provider with 50 years of service, is hiring a full-time Recruiter for its Downtown Tampa office. TGH Home Care powered by VNA of Florida provides home care services to Tampa General Hospital patients and community members. The recruiter supports staffing goals by sourcing, screening, and coordinating recruitment activities, with a focus on nurse recruiting.
Requirements
- Proven recruitment experience; nurse recruiting experience is required.
- 1–3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience in the healthcare field.
- Experience sourcing candidates through resume databases and job boards.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain current job postings for internal and external posting boards.
- Develop and execute recruitment sourcing strategies to maintain a steady flow of qualified leads.
- Review resumes and credentials for relevant skills, experience, and knowledge.
- Coordinate recruitment actions with area Administrators to meet staffing goals for each office.
- Support Administrators with interviews, job fairs, open houses, and recruiting events.
- Obtain mailing lists from professional groups to conduct direct recruitment mailings.
- Cold-call candidates from resumes, review resumes, and screen candidates.
