About The Position

The Recruiter supports staffing and hiring for Visiting Nurse Association of Florida’s home health offices. The role develops and executes sourcing strategies, maintains current job postings, reviews and screens candidate resumes, and partners with area Administrators to meet staffing goals. It also supports interviews and recruiting events, including job fairs and open houses, and conducts direct recruitment outreach. Nurse recruiting experience is required.

Requirements

• Proven recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Nurse recruiting experience.
• 1–3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience in the healthcare field.
• Experience sourcing candidates through resume databases and job boards.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate up-to-date job postings for internal and external posting boards.
• Develop and execute recruitment sourcing strategies to maintain a flow of qualified candidates.
• Review resumes and credentials for alignment with position requirements.
• Coordinate with area Administrators on recruitment actions to meet staffing goals for each office.
• Support Administrators with interviewing, job fairs, open houses, and recruiting events.
• Secure mailing lists from professional groups for direct recruitment mailings.
• Cold-call candidates based on resumes and screen candidates.
• Recruit nurses.
